Don't you all just love summer? Blue skies, vacations, the beach, the pool, and endless lazy days. I don't know about you, but where I live that's known for rain has been boiling (if you count ninety degrees boiling). I'm just surprised that it's already the middle of the summer. I still remember staring at the clock at school wanting to just crawl into my bed and watch Netflix or Hulu. Well, I still feel like that sometimes. I'm not looking forward to go back to school and deal with some people, if you know what I mean. So I intend to enjoy my summer as long as I can, like the rest of you are. So let me give you some tips on how to enjoy the rest of your summer!
- Netflix. I know that most of you want to spend your summer outside, but there's nothing wrong with one day in bed with your laptop binge watching TV shows.
- Music. Like, you can't go wrong with a legit playlist. Really, you plug in your headphones and you get the house to yourself, and bam! Your whole world just became a music video.
- Ice cream and snow cones. We all have those totally hot summer days where all you can is imagine a cold ice cream cone or an icy snow cone with that amazing artificial syrup stuff. C'mon, you need at least one of those this summer.
- The pool or beach. Not everyone has a beach nearby, but hopefully there's a swimming pool somewhere! Where I live, we can just drive to the beach and be there within twenty minutes. But you can't go wrong with a fun day at the pool, right? Okay, sure. There are a few scenarios that I could imagine not being so fun, but still!
- Just one vacation. We all need to get away during our summer break, even if it's just for a day or two.
- Friends. Seriously, there's no summer without a friend. All these things I said are amazing alone, but if you do them with a friend you will have the ultimate summer. A sleepover binge watching your favorite TV shows with your bestie? Yes please. Dance parties with the best new beat with that one crazy friend? So fun. A quick stop at the ice cream shop or the snow cone stand on your way to her house? Totally. A fun day at the beach(including splash wars)? Count me in. And a vacation with just you, your family, and your bestest bestie in the entire world? I wouldn't miss it.

Great advice, PKIA!! Now my summer can really take off and I don't feel so silly playing music and make believing I'm in my own movie!
